Top Events Canada – Winter Events and winter festivalsThe annual Winterlude festival held in Canada’s capital city attracts more than 1.5 million visitors each year and celebrates winter with a host of outdoor activities including public skating and skating displays, ice sculpture competitions, musical concerts at the Snowbowl, children's play areas, the nation’s largest ice playground, and drinks served at the Snowbowl Lounge, which is completely made of ice. Top Events Canada – Fringe TheatreA popular event for more than 17 years, Ottawa’s largest theatre festival now attracts more than 13,500 visitors each year. Held indoors and outdoors, this ten-day event now takes place at more than 15 venues in the heart of Ottawa some of which feature nightly entertainment. The Courtyard, the licensed outdoor venue on the corner of Daly and Waller – serves as the heart of the Ottawa Fringe Festival and features nightly entertainment.
